The Wiki says...

• 60 Enchanted Essences make 1 Enchanted Core.
• 45 Ruthless Essences make 1 Devouring Dragon Piece or 20 to make 1 Enchanted Core.

Is it correct? I have 60 enchanted essences but they won't combine into a core. Mouse over description says 400 needed for something, I forget.

Don't ever combine them. Take them to the roy netter guy (or the one next to him, I forget) to exchange for the 60 required.

I can look at adding an addendum to the description later; if someone can make me a list for the exchanges I'll add them. Just also include the NPC, as I will need that as well.

Hero is correct, Roy Netter is the NPC name in Artecia, 60 Enchanted Essences for 1 Enchanted Core, and 20 Ruthless Essences for 1 Enchanted Core, or 45 Ruthless Essences for 1 Devouring Dragon Piece.
